The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft & Nabisco is set to tee off with an exciting week of golf, music, and family-friendly events the week of August 21-25. The tournament returns to Boise’s Hillcrest Country Club for its 30th anniversary, featuring 75 PGA Tour players and the top 75 players from the Korn Ferry Tour (formerly Web.com Tour). Golfers will compete for $1 million in prize money and 25 PGA Tour cards.
As always, 100% of all ticket sales will go to Treasure Valley Charities. Tyson Foods TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program has generated more than $21 million for Treasure Valley Charities since its inception in 1990 and raised $1.5 million in 2018. Tyson Foods plans to give an additional $75,000 to be divided among the charities based upon their percentage of sales and ticket redemption.
Off the course, fans can enjoy live music from country star Justin Moore, who’ll be performing Saturday evening, August 24 on the Pepsi stage (located in the Fan Zone off the 18th fairway). Admission to the concert and Fan Zone are included with either a weekly or Saturday good-any-one-day golf tournament ticket. Patrons will have a variety of local food options and craft beers to choose from while rocking the night away.
“It’s the 30th anniversary of this amazing Boise event and Albertsons is proud to make this year’s edition bigger than last year at an affordable price. Fans will see incredible PGA TOUR golf, enjoy a menu filled with food and drinks and stay for great country music on Saturday night,” said Jeff Sanders, Executive Director of the Albertsons Boise Open.
Sunday, August 25 is Litehouse Family Day, which features family-friendly activities, including games, face painting, and free food samples courtesy of employee-owned and Idaho based Litehouse. Kids 17 and under receive free admission to the event all week. Other events include the Hershey Company Pro-Am, Idaho Statesman Junior Clinic presented by Tyson Foods, and more.
